Our Solution - Radar Monitoring for Flood Resilience

Our experience tells us that in the flood risk management world there are already a lot of radar sensors on the market. What makes ours different is the mm-wave radar and 3D sensing that give it capabilities beyond the others which only measure water level.

PRAM's flood monitoring solution brings together this cutting-edge radar technology, data analytics, and real-time insights to empower organizations with the tools they need to proactively manage floods, mitigate risks, and protect communities and assets.

Proprietary Algorithms.
PRAM has developed a series of algorithms that identify multiple flood defense measurement parameters, from water level to slope stability. This advancement allows our single sensor to measure multiple parameters that traditionally necessitated multiple sensors.
Real-Time Radar.
PRAM IoT sensors utilize lower-power mmWave radar to capture a multi-parameter view of conditions and transmit measurements every 15 minutes via cellular.
Location-Based Digital Twin.
The sensor technology reads an area monitored up to 200 m, reflecting surfaces in such a way that our algorithms are able to recreate a digital version of that area, as well as any anomalies.
GPS Positioning and On-Location Configuration.
Once the PRAM sensor is powered up, its location transmits directly to your dashboard. The radar reads the area and transmits pertinent data to your software, with minimal human intervention required during setup.
On-Device Data Storage.
In the event that communication networks are down, up to 1 months worth of data can be stored on each device, so you will not lose a thing. Data transmission resumes once communication is restored
Simple Setup and Data Sharing.
One sensor can be installed in as little as 15 minutes with the most basic of equipment. Solar or battery-powered alternatives enable enhanced reliability. And data are accessible via dashboard or API.

Early Warning and Prediction

PRAM provides advanced radar technology that offers early warning and predictive capabilities. PRAM's sensors measure water level and flow rate and identify anomalies such as debris build up, restrictions, blockages and cracking, enabling timely alerts about potential flooding events and asset conditions.

Real-Time Monitoring

PRAM offers real-time monitoring of roadways and water bodies, including rivers, lakes, and coastal areas. This continuous monitoring helps track water levels, flow rates, and other critical parameters, ensuring a rapid response to changing conditions.

Remote Monitoring

PRAM's radar sensors deliver high-precision data, ensuring accurate measurements of water levels in remote locations, even in challenging environmental conditions. This not only enhances safety but also saves time and resources.

Data-Driven Insights

PRAM's analytics provide valuable insights into flood patterns and trends over time. This historical data helps in understanding long-term dynamics and aids in effective flood risk management and risk classification.

Scalability

PRAM's technology is cost-effective and scalable, and it can be deployed across various geographical areas and water bodies worldwide. It caters to the needs of both small communities and larger regions.
